DADAROMA's Takashi and Tomo enter contract with ESP!

OK, so here's some cool news from DADAROMA (that awesome band in the banner up top). Guitarist 太嘉志 (Takashi) and bassist 朋 (Tomo) have entered into a monitor contract with the Japanese guitar manufacturer, ESP!

That's pretty exciting, right? Now just imagine how much more exciting it will be if (when) they each create a signature model, too!

Spring-ing back into life!

To my visitors who are few but very appreciated, I'm proud to announce that I have made some leaps and bounds in my journey to create the worlds best English source for visual kei and J-rock news, music, interviews, translations and so much more!

While the site that I am presently building and its contents are currently unavailable, and unfortunately won't be for sometime yet, I'm happy to know that my efforts will not go unseen, and that you'll be—if you're still interested in the scene at the time of my grand unveiling, which I hope is not too far into the future—happy to see it!

Since my website will have two primary functions—an updates and data entry log and an archival database—it is essential that I keep up with the on-goings of my beloved scene. So although this medium, Blogger, is not my official home for my visual kei and J-rock news website, it will serve just fine as a way for me to begin archiving announcements from as many bands as I can dig up information on!

So, this is a new start for this blog, and what better time than spring to do it? I'm going to breathe a rich breath of life into it's lungs, fire up the pistons and forge ahead at maximum speed and capacity! Expect to see short, but sweet updates on all of your favorite bands here very soon! Also, I'll begin a Facebook account for this site as well, and maybe even get it going on Twitter!

This year is already turning out to be an exciting one! And I want to help continue to spread the news of just how amazing, and sometimes life changing, visual kei and J-rock can be. I want to see it spread across the world and help bands gain as many fans as possible!

Some updates on me: I'm still studying Japanese and learning more and more about creating the perfect website. It's an all day long type of job, and honestly, I haven't been working full-time here, but I do as much as I can with the limited time that I am allotted in a day. Sometimes I wish I didn't need to sleep. Anyway, I need to go. Thank you so much for your interest, and thank you for the 869 page views (last time I checked it was at 285)! (ノ・ェ・)ノ

PS: Does my theme and color scheme hurt your eyes the way it does mine? This black background with blurring white text is painful to look at, isn't it; what was I thinking? I'll be changing that soon, too. So look forward to my return, please! σ(≧ε≦o)
